Hourly rate semi-skilled: £13.59 PAYE / £17.48 LTD  (Plus shift allowance for nights)

Hourly rate skilled:  £16.15 PAYE / £20.89 LTD  (Plus shift allowance for nights)


CAD CAM Automotive (CCA) is an established and growing Automotive Engineering company who for over 100 years have been involved in the design and development of some of the world’s most iconic vehicles. 

We require Build Technicians for the Production of a low volume body in white (BIW) vehicle build programme.  This is a skilled role, which requires a high degree of methodical thinking and attention to detail.  Each Build Technician will be responsible for their part of the production line, undertaking a number of set processes which will take 2-3 hours.

Key Tasks - Roles & Responsibilities 

  • Making subassemblies
  • Trimming parts
  • Gluing
  • Operating hand held and air powered tools
  • Riveting (using SPR self-piercing rivets)
  • Reporting and assisting to resolve build issues
  • Following process documents, including loads sequences, sealing runs and joint information 
  • Raising continues improvements to process 
  • Work to company H&S requirements Rectification work 

Candidate Requirements

  •  Previous experience of working on a manual low volume BIW vehicle build production line
  •  Experience of all of the above key tasks
  •  Ability to interpret and work through engineering documents
  •  Ability to report on progress  
  •  Self-motivated to work through a process step by step and meet tight deadlines 
  •  Experience of working to a high engineering build quality
  •  Good interpersonal skills
  •  Can do attitude
